Bird on a Wire

I finally was able to capture one of the local Red Kites on film - even if it meant sprinting around the block to follow it!

And my fluke picture of the bird as it crossed over a telegraph wire - hence the title!

These gorgeous birds are making a comeback and I love it when the pair that fly over here reappear as I know they haven't met an unfortunate end - as they eat carrion they are often the victim of cars
