I tried this at Wordle

View from the top....

At the end of my day at work with Tom we walked to the top floor of the tower I work in to take in the view (it was sunny) and take some pics.

View from the 14th floor

The staircase is quite awe-inspiring too. It's a suspended staircase and some people get vertigo using it. I took this pic looking down from the top.

And finally two pics of the outside of the building because it's such a beautiful evening and it looks it's best

what have i let myself in for????

Tom (14) is coming into work with me tomorrow. Oh my. I'm not sure Barclays is ready for him. I'm not sure I'm ready for him.

I'm dog tired tonight so forgive the poor grammar, I just cannot be bothered to scroll back and fix my text!

Bought a certain person a gift today (I can't say what it is because I have a feeling he's reading this and I want it to be a surprise) - he'll have to wait until Friday (hehehe, nearly let out the secret then thought that he might peek in here)

Tomorrow I'll update you all on how taking Tom to work went (and if I still have a job!)

Japan Day at work...

and even though I was on holiday from work I took in some Japanese food when it was Food Day as part of our Olympic Fortnight. Here's some of the packaging, it's so different to English food and some of it was just strange (the red azuki bean jelly takes some getting used to)

Pictured are Pocky with Chestnut Coating, at the back is a box of small biscuits (these had a malty flavour) and then there are small chocolate coated biscuits shaped like bamboo shoots.

There was more food, but I brought home the leftovers and my kids have demolished it! Goes to show that if it's got sugar in it they'll eat it no matter if they don't know what it's called!

Riding Lessons at Jo's Farm

Here's a clip of Catherine riding Dulcie the Welsh Cob on my friend Jo's farm. This is one of the reasons I love living in the countryside

And next weekend I get to ride on this beautiful girl, Surprise the Suffolk Punch mare...
