Third WIPocalypse update of 2012

This is the only project I've worked on lately and I think it might be the only thing I work on until it's finished... unless I change my mind.

Halfway through the Stitch-a-thon

And here's an update to Earth Dragon. Hoping to get this page finished before the end of SAT and hopefully some progress on to the next page.

30 hours of stitching between these two pictures...

And this piece is now 60% complete - I may yet finish this one before the end of next year!

Earth Dragon - possibly last update of the year

 Front on view to show the progress to date - I'm so happy to be past the half-way mark on this one and to have met my 2011 goal

And an angled shot to show the dark brown on black stitches that I think I'll despise - I know they really add to the piece but arghhhh!

Back to stitching again...

Taken today - 45% complete but I've run out of DMC 3371 so I can't finish the top half until I have this. Put it away for now until some more thread can be acquired but close to my target of completing 50% by year end :)

Yes I'm back to stitching, yes it hurts but I needed to do something to occupy my mind whilst not working and I've hit a bit of a wall researching family trees and have left that to sit and simmer until I have a brainwave.

March Stitching Update: Earth Dragon

Great progress on this one in March, I feel like I might finally be getting somewhere on this one.

Another WIP update

Photo is not great but this is Earth Dragon after another 10 hours rotation. Thankfully I am almost finished with the dark blue on black parts now!

Stitching update and another wintry pic

First another wintry picture, this one of the house behind mine with the biggest icicle I've ever seen.

More snow forecast for tonight but it hasn't arrived yet so fingers crossed we escape again and I can get to work fine tomorrow.


And a stitching update to Earth Dragon.... I put this one away some time ago and have just done another 10 hours on it.
