I took a day trip to Oxford, getting there was a bit of a mare, with a bus, train, train, replacement coach service... but it was a beautiful if windy day.
In the park they were playing Quidditch complete with sticks between their legs.
After a while the wind picked up and so I headed to the Pitt River Museum - this is a quirky little spot at the back of the Oxford Natural History Museum full of many many things that a Victorian philanthropist collected on his many travels. They aren't displayed by region as in many museums but by type.
