A new day and a new hair colour...
This time it's Manic Panic Electric Amethyst on the roots with Manic Panic Turquoise and Adore Emerald on the lengths.
Not too shabby even if I do say so myself
A day trip to Oxford
I took a day trip to Oxford, getting there was a bit of a mare, with a bus, train, train, replacement coach service... but it was a beautiful if windy day.
In the park they were playing Quidditch complete with sticks between their legs.
After a while the wind picked up and so I headed to the Pitt River Museum - this is a quirky little spot at the back of the Oxford Natural History Museum full of many many things that a Victorian philanthropist collected on his many travels. They aren't displayed by region as in many museums but by type.
I have this thing for shoes
particularly high heeled shoes...
I have a collection but that doesn't stop me wanting to buy more.
These were the latest acquisitions from a charity shop
A little piece of stitching finished...
This wasn't something I would choose to stitch and I didn't enjoy it, but it was a piece started by Alan's mum many years ago so I finished it for her.

A little nostalgia
Pictures taken in 2004 when I bravely but somewhat foolishly took my two children on holiday to Majorca. As you can see a good time was had by all, plenty of fun and sunshine. At the end of the week I was exhausted and in need of a holiday alone!
