Farewell to February...

My goals for February:
Finish Bride's Tree Ornament #2
Finish Magicas Puntadas SAL Part 2
Finish Midsummer Night's Fairy

and I achieved them all plus managed to get some stitching done on a very long-standing WIP - Earth Dragon. I guess that means February was an excellent stitching month, as was January... let's hope this continues into March. The finishes will definitely be fewer for the rest of the year as a lot of projects I have started are huge and I haven't achieved much on them.

Finish Magicas Puntadas SAL Part 3 (released 10th March)
Get Earth Dragon to 30% complete

Bride's Tree Ornament for February & Scrabble

I've finished my February ornament. I'm not making these up until I've made all 12 because I want to use fabrics that work together to finish them. This is a free design but I can't remember where from.

And this morning I was playing Scrabble with Alan when this combination of letters turned up. Erf!

Middy - Finished at last

It took three days to add all the beads but she looks beautiful and I'm so pleased with the finished result!

Birthday Presents

A sparkly chocolate cake - it was delicious - thankfully not with the correct number of candles, I don't think I could have blown out that many in one go!

Oh no... another started project crawled out of a hole

... yet another one I'd forgotten about - Stargazer Lilies by The Silver Lining, which in my insanity I decided to stitch over-1 on 28ct jobelan. I think I've only put a few stitches in but I'm too scared to open the packet to see just how few!!!! Added it to the sidebar and I will get around to it sometime I just have no idea when.

It's my birthday!

I'm another year older but not necessarily another year wiser. My fabulous other half bought me a Kindle 3 (and snazzy red leather case for it) and I've been playing with it today. I'm thinking of applying for some jobs in London and this would keep me occupied for the 50 min train journey. I also got some french stitching charts from Alan's visit to Paris and some sweets in a jar (with a personalised message) from my daughter.

And just to make my day even better I managed to sew the last bead on to Middy and will be taking pics later after my birthday supper :)
