yay! on to part 9 now. Not a great picture but so pleased to have gotten another part completed.

Poppies kit finished

Stitched on 14ct Aida from a Golden Bee kit - this was a piece I finished for Alan's mum after she was unable to complete it.

Magicas Puntadas SAL - Part 7 completed

As part of the Stitch-a-thon over on Cross Stitchy Crazy I set myself the target to finish at least Part 7 of this SAL, and I've managed it. I'm really behind on this one because I haven't been able to stitch but I've decided I need to stitch and will just take a painkiller if I need to.

Back to stitching again...

Taken today - 45% complete but I've run out of DMC 3371 so I can't finish the top half until I have this. Put it away for now until some more thread can be acquired but close to my target of completing 50% by year end :)

Yes I'm back to stitching, yes it hurts but I needed to do something to occupy my mind whilst not working and I've hit a bit of a wall researching family trees and have left that to sit and simmer until I have a brainwave.

Magicas Puntadas SAL - Part 6 completed

I've completed the 6th instalment of this SAL now. Can't wait until the next part is sent out on 10th July, the design is really coming together and the colours are "popping"!
